Aishwarya Bachchan: The queen of Bollywood courts Hollywood

UTV Motion Pictures, the co-producer and worldwide distributor of "Jodhaa Akbar," is pushing hard to make sure that it expands the traditional fan base. Theatrical trailers were released globally as early as September.

"Of course we are relying on South Asian viewers," said Siddharth Roy Kapur, the director of UTV, in a telephone interview. "But this is the perfect film for anyone who is curious about Bollywood. It has scale, stars, drama, song and dance."

Carry Creativity Along With Sony's Digital Photo Printers

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- To simplify the process of printing your digital pictures, Sony today introduced two photo printers with one-touch printing and in-printer photo editing features.

The transportable PictureStation DPP-FP95 or the DPP-FP75 photo printers can be taken to birthday celebrations, family reunions or scrapbooking parties. They produce lab-quality 4 x 6-inch prints in about a minute.

Get the Print You Want

Sony uses its BIONZ(TM) digital imaging processor in the DPP-FP95 printer to offer optimized performance with Sony's Cyber-shot(R) and Alpha DSLR cameras. Each printer can access data in the picture files created from Sony(R) digital still cameras and use this data to create the best print based on the settings used when the photo was taken.

Fog, flooding watches in place

Heavy rainfall is possible Tuesday, and the weather service says that melting snow and nearly frozen soil could result in flooding along some waterways and in low-lying areas.

Current conditions

http://www.journalgazette.net/

If flooding begins in your area

The state recommends:

- Get to higher ground if possible.

- Evacuate your house if flooding is possible.

- Know your town and make sure you know alternate escape routes in case one is blocked.

- Take pets with you if you evacuate. However, many shelters usually do not allow pets inside due to sanitary conditions, so plan accordingly.

- Do not try to drive through water. As little as 2 feet can cause most cars to float, and as little as a few inches of moving water can wash most cars away with the current.

Unique entries: Camden Iron makes custom-designed steel gates for ...

In many of Camden's designs, the colors change depending on the viewer's vantage point. Once the gate is completed, it is given a clear-powder coat, adding protection and sheen. His gates have a three-dimensional quality to them. A horse's mane ripples on one gate. In another, six pieces of metal form a cowboy's hat on a rider leading a team of pack horses loaded with elk. In another, fish seem to wriggle as they swim through the water. Details on the gates are designed to be seen from both sides. Camden even adds flourishes such as pine cones. He's built about seven gates so far, with prices ranging from $30,000 to $48,500.The gates take several months from initial consultation to final installation. He said he's ended up friends with his clients, going hunting or fishing with them."There is nobody doing what I do with gates," Camden said.

Heaviest man lived with plenty of heart

Nor did he ever get to ride a bicycle. Such activities were just too tiring.

But Robert Earl was not slothful. He gladly would help on the family farm, feeding chickens, gathering eggs and performing other jobs that could be done at a slow pace.

Despite such limitations, Robert Earl never showed any self-pity. All accounts peg him as a gregarious, smiling youngster - "a very jolly fellow," as Harry Manley puts it.

Those close to Robert Earl say he did not eat like a pig. They say he had a hearty appetite, perhaps enough to pack extra pounds onto any person. But they say his meals were not so big - some say he rarely had seconds - as to account for his enormous size.

Still, by age 13 he had reached an astounding 546 pounds. At school, he sat on a special bench braced with two-by-fours and wire.
